COMPSCI 290P — Privacy-Enhancing Technologies
A graduate special-topics course on the foundations, systems, and applications of privacy-enhancing technologies.
The course introduces the principles and technologies that enable computation while protecting sensitive information, and examines their implications across cryptography, software, systems, architecture, and emerging applications.
Topics include foundational and advanced privacy-enhancing technologies, with an emphasis on understanding both their security properties and the systems challenges involved in making them practical.
The course combines lectures with hands-on assignments and a course-long research or implementation project culminating in a final presentation.

COMPSCI 231P — Parallel and Distributed Computing for Professionals
A graduate course covering principles and techniques for parallel and distributed computing, with an emphasis on practical systems and professional computing applications.
COMPSCI 231P is a core or elective component tailored for professional graduate tracks, including UC Irvine's Master of Computer Science program.
